The Federal Government has declared this Monday a national day of mourning. Due to the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II we will not be parading this day.

Annual Validations & Applications

Annual validations were provided our first night back to those in attendance. Please return them to Lt Drew as soon as possible.

For new cadets, if you have not provided your health card and birth certificate to Lt Drew, please bring them next week.

Warrant Officer II Positions

Senior cadets that are eligible to be promoted to WOII, must submit a memo to Captain Walton in order to be considered for promotion.

Your memo needs to state your desire to be promoted any why you think you would make a good WOII. Memos are to be submitted to Trent.Walton@cadets.gc.ca.

Parade Night – Mon 26 Sept

We will be doing classes and kit exchange this night. Please remember to bring back all of your uniform parts (Both blues and FTU’s) that do not fit.
Dress will be appropriate civilian attire.

Online Ground School

Cadets Level 3 + and 16+ yrs old are eligible to apply for flight training in the summer of 2023. Please visit the Online Ground School page for more information. Ground School

FTX: Operation Evergreen – 30 Sept – 2 Oct

We will be attending our overnight Field Training Exercise at Camp Saskadet this weekend. Transportation will be provided. We will join cadets from #20 and #703 squadrons for 2 days of outdoor activities including, fire lighting, shelter building, Air Rifle Range and many more activates. We encourage all cadets to sign up and join us for this fun weekend.

Timings:

Drop off 1700 Hrs (5pm) Memorial Hall Sept, 30. 2022

Pickup 1700 Hrs (5pm) Memorial Hall Oct, 2. 2022

All meals and supplies will be provided for the cadets.

Please note that while masks are not required for regular training, masks are mandatory on all DND provided transportation so all cadets, officers, and staff will be required to wear a mask on the trip to/from Saskadet but not during the weekend activities.

CO’s Parade – Mon 3 Oct

Tonight will be out first CO’s parade. Dress will be C3 – Light blue dress shirt, blue tunic, blue dress pants, parade boots, belt, tie, and wedge.

Seniors will be C1 which is the same as above but includes medals, if earned.
