27 November –Sports Night
Our Senior Cadets will plan and conduct a fun sports night for tonight. Please bring a water bottle and indoor runners.
Dress will be appropriate civilian sports attire.
CAF Tech Talks
The first ‘Tech Talks’ episode of the training year will be live next Thursday, 30 November 2023, featuring Dismounted Infantry, with some of their ‘tools of the trade’.
‘Tech Talks’ is an interactive online CAF Engagement presentation that features CAF members in their workplace. These episodes provide a general awareness of the many CAF occupations not normally seen in the popular media. Cadets can log-in from their corps/sqn, or on their own devices, for an introduction to, and interaction with, some of the many technicians that keep our ships afloat, soldiers on the ground, and aircraft in the sky.
30 November at 20:00 (8PM) via Teams – Dismounted Infantry
Dismounted Infantry provide flexibility to the battle space as they engage the enemy in all weather conditions, day or night. “Boots on the ground” stereotypically seize and hold ground, but are just as well suited for disaster mitigation (floods, fires, ice storms), aide to the civil power, peacekeeping, ceremonial duties, ground search and rescue, and pretty well any other assigned task! Ask questions about their garrison and field training exercise! Ask about life in the CAF! Ask about their deployments! Cadets from a local corps/sqn will be conducting this interview.
If you are interested in joining the presentation please see Lt Drew and she will provide you the link.

Cadet 365 Accounts
Cadet 365 is a cadet office account that allows cadets access to Microsoft products free of charge. This includes giving them access to Teams where various communications and resources are provided.
All cadets have been issued a Cadet 365 account and credentials were provided previously. All cadets need to log into and finish setting up their accounts.
Once set up, cadets also need to complete the Cyber Security Awareness course. Once your account is set up, the course can be accessed by searching the home page or via this link https://cjcr365.sharepoint.com/sites/cyber
These accounts are becoming increasingly important and it is required for summer camps as online courses and communication come through this account. Cadets cannot participate in summer training without a valid Cadet 365 account.
If you need assistance setting up your account or require your login credentials, see Lt Drew on Monday night. You can also contact the Helpdesk at 1-855-252-8082.
Step by step procedure to complete the initial onboarding and FAQ for cadets are available on Canada.ca.
