Sports Night Monday Jan 29.

The Squadron will be curling Monday Jan 29. Please meet @630 pm at the Indian Head Curling Club 606 Eden Street.

Please wear proper sports attire a light sweater, gloves and bring clean shoes! Come prepared to have FUN! 752 from Monday will also be joining us.


Selection Board Interviews for 2018 National Camps

Cadets applying for flying or Advanced Aviation Courses must sit a selection board interview in Regina on Feb 4 2018. Our time is scheduled at 10 AM.

We sent out emails with prep materials for the cadet who need to get ready for the interviews.


Staff Cadet Applicants

Cadets who are applying for staff positions are asked to bring in your SIN card, direct deposit banking information and tax forms. ASAP this will help to speed up the employment offer process.

Stage 2 Marksmanship

5 Cadets offer to participate in the Stage 2 Marksmanship competition. This was to be a mail-in competition but now the plans may change. There may be a full or partial competition on Feb 10 in Regina. The decision will be know this week. We will keep you informed


Easter Trip 2018

We have 20 of 27 cadets confirm there attendance for the Easter Trip. If you have filled out the form GREAT! Please don’t fill it out again. If you have not filled it out please follow the link below and let us know if you joining us or not.

We are planning a 3 day citizenship trip to Winnipeg. April 4-5-6 2018 during the Easter school break. Please check out the web page for all the details as they develop. Now we need to confirm your attendance so we can plan the proper accommodations, meals transport and admissions to events and tours.

Inter Squadron Sports Day

Our mandatory inter squadron sport day, our Melville Volleyball Tournament is still scheduled for Saturday Feb 17! This is a fun tournament and a great way to meet new cadets from other squadrons. 2Lt Whalley will be handing out permission forms and information on Monday night.

The Tournament will be at St. Henry’s Senior School at 1255 Prince Edward Street in Melville, starting at 1000 hrs and finishing at 1500 hrs. Lunch will be provided. Proper sports attire is required.

Team should arrive at 930 for registration.

It is a self drive activity but part of our required training year. Car pooling might be an option.


Effective Speaking

Cadet who were are taking part in effective speaking should be working on their speeches. We will hold the speak off on Monday Feb,5th. One week away!


JUJUBES ARE IN!

We will be distributing boxes to the cadets on Monday for them to sell. Each cadet will receive one box of 24 along with all the info needed.

Each bag of jujubes sells for $4

If you want to ‘pre-buy’ the box so you don’t have you worry about returning money to us we are okay with that!
Each box has 24 bags at 4 dollars each =$96

We would like all money (or jujubes not sold) handed back to Jacene by Feb 26 so that we know how this fundraiser is working out and if we will order another batch.


Curling

Times have been Changed for Sunday!

Curling team practice will be held Wednesdays 4 to 6 and Sundays 1 to 3. Please be sure to show up if you are planing on joining the team.

Zone curling will be Feb 24, 2018 hosted by #802 Pipestone from Moosomin.
