Range for Tomorrow

Cadets will be doing range on Monday 19. Please wear civilian clothes.


Parent Support Meeting Tomorrow

Parents please plan to attend the Parent Sponsor Meeting Tomorrow in the Legion Room at the Memorial Hall.


Legion and Lord Strathcona Awards

There are two awards that can be presented to cadets, one of the main requirements is if Cadets participate in community volunteer activities.

We would like to know about the type of volunteering you do. Please email Captain Walton at 691hawk@gmail.com with what type of job you do, when you do it, how often and for what group. Parents may also email the details.


Easter Trip 2018

The Easter Trip is just 3 weeks away. We have 22 cadets signed up for this the trip. We will be holding a mandatory information session. Each Cadet must have a parent/guardian present for this meeting.

Date: March 19, 2018 @ 645 at the Memorial Hall.

Itinerary:

  • Parent and Cadet will read and sign the code of conduct and the permission forms.
  • Review of trip Itinerary.
  • Review Kit list.
  • Timings for trip drop off and pickup.
  • Communications and emergency plan.
  • Money and electronics policy review.

CO and Trg(O) Conference

Captain Walton and 2Lt. Whalley attended the commanding and training officer conference in Saskatoon. It was a busy 2 days of meetings updates and working groups about the state of the cadet programs in the region.


CO Parade Night Monday March 19.

Monday March 19 will be, CO parade dress is full uniform. We will also be doing a few promotions. Parents are welcome to attend.


Cadet Camps 2018

Still no word on camps for 2018 yet. Hopefully we will be getting in offers soon.


Regina Squadron Tour and Military Museum Visit

The Squadron will be visiting 34 Roland J Groome Squardon in Regina on April 23, 2018. We will also be visiting the Military Museum in the Regina Armories. Cadets will be transported to and from Regina in a parent supplied car pool. Details to be announced.
