Parade – Mon 6 Jan
Tonight will be our first night back and we will be hosting a games night that is open to the community. Cadets will be in civilian attire and are encouraged to bring a game to share.
Parade – Mon 13 Dec
Tonight will be a CO’s Parade. Dress will be C1, or C1A for those with medals. This is your full blue uniform including blue dress pants, blue tunic, light blue dress shirt, tie, polished parade boots, tunic, and wedge.
Around the Pole – Sat 18 Jan
Throughout the training year we learn about airplanes and how they fly. This activity gives the cadets a hands on way of seeing it in action. Cadets will design and build a small model airplane from supplied materials, foam board, hot glue, 3d printed parts and a small electric motor. We then hook their creations to a guide wire attached to a central pole and test to see how well it flies…. or not. Cadets make adjustments to their designs to make the best flying machine they can. Last year cadets had a blast and it was a great time. Please plan to attend.
Dress will be appropriate civilian attire. Cadets should bring a water bottle.
This activity will be at the hall and will run from 10:00-15:00 (10AM-3PM).
We will be hosting this as a community event and those aged 12-18 are encouraged to come.
Parade – Mon 20 Jan
Tonight will be a regular training night. Dress will be C5-FTU. If you do not have, or they do not fit, dress will be C3F.

CAF Tech Talks
‘Tech Talks’ is an interactive online CAF Engagement presentation that features CAF members in their workplace. These episodes provide a general awareness of the many CAF occupations not normally seen in the popular media. Cadets can log-in from their corps/sqn, or on their own devices, for an introduction to, and interaction with, some of the many technicians that keep our ships afloat, soldiers on the ground, and aircraft in the sky.

Cadet 365 Accounts
Cadet 365 is a cadet office account that allows cadets access to Microsoft products free of charge. This includes giving them access to Teams where various communications and resources are provided.
All cadets have been issued a Cadet 365 account and credentials were provided previously for existing cadets and will be provided to all new cadets upon enrolment. All cadets need to log into and finish setting up their accounts.
Once set up, cadets also need to complete the Cyber Security Awareness course. Once your account is set up, the course can be accessed by searching the home page or via this link https://cjcr365.sharepoint.com/sites/cyber
These accounts are becoming increasingly important and it is required for multi-unit Area Directed Activities from September-June, summer camps, and other training opportunities throughout the year as online courses and communication come through this account. Cadets cannot participate in Area Directed Activities or summer training without a valid Cadet 365 account.
If you need assistance setting up your account or require your login credentials, see Capt Drew on Monday night. You can also contact the Helpdesk at 1-855-252-8082 for technical support.
Step by step procedure to complete the initial onboarding and FAQ for cadets are available on Canada.ca.
