Winter Exercise 2017

We will be holding our annual winter exercise with 752 and 695 squadrons at Camp Saskadet. During his weekend activity will cadets will learn survival skills and have some winter fun!

Please dress for cold weather even if it is harm at home!

Parents please download and print the consent form below or drop by the office on Monday to sign one.

What you need to know about the camp:

Depart: Meet @ Memorial Hall – no later than 16:45hrs  Friday, 3 Mar 2017

CADETS SHOULD EAT SUPPER BEFORE ARRIVING AT BUS (or pack a meal)

Return: Pick up @ Memorial Hall –  no later than 15:30 hrs  Sunday, 5 Mar 2017

Chocolate Almonds

We are selling Chocolate Almonds to help fun our squadron activities. If you require more almonds please ask Amanda Severt.


ZTO Visit

The Zone Training Officer will be visiting us on March 20.


 

Curling         curling

The Curling team competed in the Zone curling playoffs in Estevan this past weekend and won Gold. They will play in the provincial bonspiel ,hosted by our squadron.

Please monitor the Facebook page to know when practices are.

Indian Head Curling Club.

Wednesdays: 4 pm to 6 pm
Sundays: 10 am to 12 am

Please bring a pair of clean shoes a water bottle. Brooms and sliders will be provided.


 

Easter Trip

Easter trip update:

Tours and activities have been booked and confirmed. Airline tickets have been booked.

We are working on many other tasks to complete the details of the trip, such as, room and group assignments.

There will be a parent information night to give the full information package.


Parade Night Attendance

If you are gong to be absent from cadets on a Monday night parade, you must call the squadron office @306-695-2795 or email info@691hawk.ca. If you post on Facebook, tell a friend your not coming or not show up it will be marked as absent.


Administration Officer

2Lt Pat Beanland has announced her intentions to leave the cadet program at the end of the training year. The squadron thanks her for her many year of service and dedication. She will be greatly missed.

The squadron must begin now to find and train a new team member to take her position.

Are you looking for adventure?

Our organization is looking for individuals that can be a positive influence on youth aged 12-19 yrs of age.  This position will require a national screening check, drivers abstract and character references.  The position may include supervision, instruction of variety of topics, administration, and some travel with overnight stays may be required.  Assets for this position would include previous work with youth, enthusiasm, willing to learn new skills, willing to listen,  previous cadet or military experience, and/or any technical skills.  This position can provide financial compensation once it’s determined a good fit.  All Training will be provided free of charge.
