Monday, 2 November Parade
Dress will be C4A (blue t-shirt, no tunic).
We will be doing a “Remembrance Dog Tag” Activity for Remembrance Day this year. We will begin the project on Monday night.
When you arrive, you will be stopped at the door to answer a few COVID screening questions and sign the attendance register. If you do not have a mask, you will be given a disposable NMM (Non-Medical Mask). Cadets are encouraged to wear a mask if they have their own.
If you are not feeling well do not come to cadets.

All Cadets were provided with a document with instructions on how to set up their own 691hawk.ca gmail account. This will give them access to our google drive, classroom, etc. If you have not already done so, please set it up before next week.

Fundraising – Car Raffle Tickets
Cadets were given raffle tickets last week. As previously mentioned, no Cadets or Officers are authorized to participate in squadron fundraising at this time. This means that the tickets must be sold by the parents this year.
This is an annual fundraiser for the Air Cadet League but our squadron does get a portion of the sales from the tickets we well.
books, unsold tickets and money are due back by 1 February, 2020. All lost/ not returned tickets must be paid for.
Sunday 8 November – Uniform Care & Range day
we will have our annual uniform care and range day on Sunday 8 November from 10:00-15:00 (10 AM – 3 PM).
Please bring your uniform and a water bottle. Lunch will be provided.
Monday 9 November parade
Our parade night on 9 November will be done virtually. Please join the general meeting room in Google Classroom.
Remembrance Dog Tag Project
On Monday Nov 2, 2020 a number of Remembrance Dog Tags will be displayed, cadets can choose a dog tag of a fallen Canadian Solder.
Cadets will have one week to research their solder and then present their findings to their fellow cadets at our virtual parade on Nov 9, 2020. Cadets may also choose to research a relative or member of their community.

Remembrance Day
Remembrance Day across Canada will be very different this year. Our Commanding has ordered that Cadets and Officers are not to participate in any Remembrance Day events. This includes Remembrance Day at your school.
You may participate as a student or citizen, but you cannot wear your uniform.
