Gliding – Sat 27 May
We just got confirmation that our Gliding day has been approved. This will be an all day activity and cadets will be outdoors for the entire duration of the activity.
Cadets are to be at the hall by 7AM on Saturday. Cadets will be back at the hall for 17:00 (5PM)
Cadets will be outside for the duration of the day. Dress for the weather, wear closed toe shoes, and bring a water bottle.
Annual Ceremonial Review – Mon 29 May
Mark you calendars! It’s only a few weeks until our Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR).
The ACR is our final parade of the training year. Cadets hold a formal parade with year end awards, presentations, and promotions. Cadets are expected to attend and Family and Friends are encouraged to attend.
We kindly request that if you know you will attend please RSVP to Lt Drew with your name and the number in your party so we can set up an appropriate number of chairs and take numbers into account for refreshments.

Cadet 365 Accounts
Cadet 365 is a cadet office account that allows cadets access to Microsoft products free of charge. This includes giving them access to Teams where various communications and resources are provided.
All cadets have been issued a Cadet 365 account and credentials were provided previously. All cadets need to log into and finish setting up their accounts.
Once set up, cadets also need to complete the Cyber Security Awareness course. Once your account is set up, the course can be accessed by searching the home page or via this link https://cjcr365.sharepoint.com/sites/cyber
These accounts are becoming increasingly important and it is required for summer camps as online courses and communication come through this account. Cadets cannot participate in summer training without a valid Cadet 365 account.
If you need assistance setting up your account or require your login credentials, see Lt Drew on Monday night. You can also contact the Helpdesk at 1-855-252-8082.

CAF Tech Talks
The CAF Tech Talks is a regular weekly Canadian Armed Forces engagement opportunity to introduce cadets to various CAF members, their occupation, career, and some equipment and tools of the trade. These episodes are interactive so cadets have the opportunity to ask questions directly to CAF members. They introduce some of the many CAF trades not normally portrayed in the popular media which are vital to the overall CAF team and mission success. Participation is encouraged but entirely optional.
Upcoming sessions will be listed below once we have received the details. If you would like to attend let an officer know and Lt Drew will send you the meeting invite. Sessions last about 35-40 minutes each.
Engineer Technical Quartermaster Sergeant (ETQMS) – 25 May at 1900 (7PM)
ETQMS is the senior NCM that has the experience to ensure the people working at Mission Support Squadron team have the necessary resources they need.
Air Cadet League Photo Contest
The Saskatchewan Air Cadet League annual Photo Contest is underway. Cadets and parents of cadets can submit up to three entries. Photos should relate to Air Cadets.
First prize is $100 Cash
Second prize is $50 Cash
Third prize is SKACL merchandise
Prizes are for each category.
All cadet entries are submitted for a grand prize draw of a $200 camera voucher.
