Annual Validations
Annual Validations were handed out on 13 September, 2021. Please review and return ASAP.
This year the cadets are being set up on Cadet365. Cadet365 is a Microsoft Office platform that will allow your cadet access to Office products like Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Teams, and more. It is also the new official online training platform for Cadets across Canada. Please ensure that your cadet’s email address is provided on the annual validation so they can be set up.

Ground School
Ground School will be offered by Moncton Flight College this year and will be conducted virtually. If you are interested in writing the Power Pilot or Glider Pilot exams this year, you will have to complete the 45-hours of self spaced ground school prior to writing the exam on 15 January, 2021

Cadet Correspondent
Cadets do you have an interest in writing, photo and video production? If so we are looking for a cadet to tell the story of 691 Hawk Squadron. You will be responsible to post on social media the squadrons activates.
There will be a special 8 week training course to give you all the tools you need to succeed. To apply for this position you must be:
- Minimum rank of Sgt.
- Level 3
- Have an interest in writing and the production of imagery and video,
- Have, or have regular access to, a computer/laptop/tablet, camera or smartphone, and internet access; and
- Have a high level of autonomy and self-motivation
Dates: 4 Oct to 10 Dec 21 with a registration deadline of 4 Oct 21 or from 7 Feb to 15 Apr 22 with a registration deadline of 7 Feb 22.

Uniform Exchange
If you are returning uniform parts for any reason, please ensure to bring them back washed. Your uniform does not have to be dry-cleaned, just a regular wash in your washing machine will do.
Ensure you are washing your uniform weekly to ensure it stays fresh and clean.
We will be doing a mass kit return and reissue of our blue uniforms and an initial kit issue of FTUs in the month of September.
Once everyone has been issued new uniform parts, we will hold kit exchange monthly on a weekend. Dates are TBD and will be published at a once determined.
Monday 11 October – Thanksgiving
As Monday, 11 October is a STAT holiday, we will not be parading tonight.
Sunday 17 October – Orienteering Day
Dress will be: CIVILIANS / FTUS.
Activity will run from 10:30-15:00 (10:30 AM – 3:00 PM).
Meet at Memorial Hall and be prepared to be outside all day.
Bring a mask as you will be required to wear one indoors. You will also be required to wear a mask outdoors when social distancing cannot be maintained.
Bring a water bottle.
Monday 18 October Parade Night
Dress will be C3E – Dark blue t-shirt with tunic, blue trousers, wedge, and parade boots.
