Cadets Resumes Jan 8th

Cadets will resume training Jan 8th 2018 at the Memorial Hall.


Parent Sponsor Meeting Monday Night Jan 15

Parents please plan to attend the parent support group meeting 645 Jan 15th at the Memorial Hall.


Curling

Curling team practice will be held Wednesdays 4 to 6 and Sundays 1o to 12. Please be sure to show up if you are planing on joining the team.

Zone curling will be Feb 10, 2018 hosted by #802 Pipestone from Moosomin.


Cadet Camps 2018

This the last chance for any cadets wishing to apply for National Cadet courses. You must have you high school marks (transcripts) and you one page narrative in tomorrow night.

Any cadets wishing to apply for regional camps have one week left to apply.


Selection Board Interviews for 2018 Camps

Cadets applying for flying or Advanced Aviation Courses must sit a selection board interview in Regina on Feb 4 2018. Our time is scheduled at 10 AM. Several mock selection boards practice sessions will be set up before hand.


Volleyball in Melville

Our mandatory intersquadron sport day, our Melville Volleyball Tournament is still scheduled for Saturday January 13! This is a fun tournament and a great way to meet new cadets from other squadrons. 2Lt Whalley will be handing out permission forms and information on Monday night.

The Tournament will be at St. Henry’s Senior School at 1255 Prince Edward Street in Melville, starting at 1000 hrs and finishing at 1500 hrs. Lunch will be provided. Proper sports attire is required.

Team should arrive at 930 for registration.

It is a self drive activity but part of our required training year. Car pooling might be an option.


Volleyball in Regina

We have been invited to a competitive Volleyball tournament in Regina hosted by 41 Hercules on Jan 27. Lunch will be provided. Proper sports attire will be required. We don’t have any information about the timings yet but will post as soon as we have the details.

This is a single 8 person team event. Individual parents will provide transport to and from Regina for this day activity.
